🏗️ Project Scope:
You will be working on internal fit-outs for a new office complex and retail units near Gatwick Airport. The work involves constructing partition walls, installing suspended ceilings, fitting doors and windows, building bespoke joinery units, and installing kitchen fittings. A high standard of finish is essential.
Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
- Performing all aspects of first and second fix carpentry to a high standard, including stud partitioning, door hanging, skirting, architrave, and kitchen unit installation.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and site plans to execute work accurately as per specifications.
- Operating a range of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery (e.g., circular saws, routers, planers, nail guns) safely and competently.
- Working collaboratively with other trades on site, including electricians, plumbers, and general labourers, to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations (COSHH, RAMS) and site-specific rules.
- Conducting on-site measurements, cutting materials efficiently to minimise waste, and assisting with material handling and storage.

Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner (minimum 3 years).
- Valid CSCS Card (Gold Skilled Worker or Blue Labourer).
- Own reliable tools and PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, steel-toe boots).
- Excellent understanding of UK building regulations.
- Right to work in the UK.
