Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate counterbalance and/or reach forklift trucks to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials within the warehouse and yard.
- Conduct daily pre-use forklift checks (FLT checks) and report any defects or maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to fulfil pick lists and orders accurately, ensuring the correct products are moved to loading bays or storage locations.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, keeping work areas, aisles, and racking clear and adhering to all 5S principles.
- Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and use handheld scanners (RF guns) for stock movement tracking and inventory control.
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety regulations, including wearing correct PPE, following site speed limits, and participating in safety briefings.
Essential Requirements
- Valid, in-date Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach) with proven recent experience (minimum 6 months).
- A strong, demonstrable commitment to health and safety. Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
- Ability to understand pick lists, follow instructions precisely, and work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
- Good numerical skills for basic stock counting and a reasonable level of physical fitness for a role that involves some manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive 'can-do' attitude. Must be available for an immediate start in Birmingham B46.
- Right to work in the UK. A basic DBS check may be required for some client sites.

Pay Structure
- Standard Rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
