Payroll Administrator in Barnsley S70: Immediate Start & Competitive Rates

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a payroll processing role, managing the end-to-end payroll cycle for a minimum of 100 employees. You must have practical knowledge of UK payroll legislation, RTI submissions, and Auto-Enrolment. Experience with common payroll software like Sage 50 Payroll or similar is essential. If you have a background in finance administration within the South Yorkshire area and are keen to specialise in payroll, we would also love to hear from you.

The role is initially offered on a temporary basis through Quick Placement. However, the client's clear intention is for this to be a temp-to-permanent assignment. They are seeking a long-term member for their team, and the temporary period serves as a mutual probation. Based on performance and fit, the expectation is to transition the successful candidate onto the client's permanent payroll after an agreed period, typically 3-6 months.
